Bill C-10 passes House, moves to Senate E-mail

On December 5, 2011 Bill C-10 received third reading and was approved by the Conservative dominated House of Commons in a vote of 157-127.  The omnibus bill now moves to the Senate, where it will face a similar process of study as in the House.

Our fight against mandatory incarceration for drug crimes continues now at the Senate.  We must continue to speak out about the impacts this legislation will have on people across the country.  More people are talking about the problems of Canada's enforcement dominated drug policy, and they are increasingly doing something about it.  Be a part of the growing movement, demand an end to failed strategies and join the call for sensible drug policy!
